This week at Abellamiento, we're featuring this gorgeous set of vintage painted porcelain candle sconces, dated 1966:
This pretty set of candle sconces catch your eye right away. They are mainly white and painted in a basket-weave and swirl design of gold on the white porcelain and then with touches of pink on top of that to really add that just perfect touch. This lovely set of porcelain candle sconces would work in any number of decor styles (shabby/chic, Paris apartment, etc.). They look like they might be of Italian design/workmanship, but there's nothing marked on the sconces to indicate that, and in fact the only thing marked on them is 1966 in the inner back of the sconces. They measure about 5" x 4" x 3" and are in perfect shape (no fading, scratches, cracks, or grazing). There are two holes in the back of each sconce for ease of wall hanging to keep them stable.
